Drug Rehabilitation Program: Seeing the Light at the End of a Dark Tunnel
There are times and places in all our lives when we chose to fall prey to the dark temptations around us and while some might be smaller demons and others larger, when it comes to slaying our woes, everyone could use a bit of help.

Drug addiction is a phenomenon that is hitting the youth across the planet at a scary pace and with the fast night life and peer-pressure forcing young minds in this direction. It is essential to have a system in place that does what is required to deal with the situation. It is the addiction one needs to get rid off, not the person and for this both patience and scientific approach are a must. But drug rehab treatment and relocation programs seem to achieve certain success in this regard.
Once an individual gets lost in the murky and deadly world of drugs, the first thing to do is to help him realize the trouble he is in and generate a will to fight the problem. If the individual does not cooperate, then it is impossible to fight the problem.
However, several drug rehab programs like the Narconon Vistabay center start off in this direction. The first step is to free the body from any remaining drugs and narcotic components using a sauna based, drug-free detox program. This of course is the easy part. The real challenge comes later on when special educational therapies that are designed to teach the patient self-control need to take effect.
If the patient learns to woo himself away from drugs for a considerable period of time, then it is the first major step of success. Additional therapy and a follow-up program to assist the patient back into society then follow. The Narconon Vistabay claims to be successful in 76% of cases and while that is commendable, it still means 1/4th still go back to drugs.
But since most programs fail to delve into the psychological problems of the patient and why they were forced into the world of narcotics, a more methodic and complete approach would probably help more people recover in a much better fashion, a lot faster.
